Course Description:

In the modern business world, national borders are becoming less and less distinct and money flows are becoming increasingly international. To be competitive in the global environment, it is important for organisations to organise, implement and monitor their activities. The information arising from it is crucial for correct managerial decision making. This asks for specialists in the field of international finance and control.

To cater to the need for these specialists, Avans University has developed a special Bachelor course in Finance and Control, which is fully taught in English. This four-year study programme is highly international in scope and covers all major aspects of finance and control that are essential in international business.

Preparing you for the professional practice
To prepare you for the international professional field, the programme comprises two semesters of practical training: a one-semester work placement and a one-semester graduation assignment for an international company.

A close involvement of representatives of internationally operating companies in the development and delivery of the programme guarantees that the programme meets the standards of the professional field. You are challenged to run projects with multinational organisations from the very first beginning of your studies.

Degree
On completion of the programme you will obtain a Bachelor of Economics degree.

The Finance and Control programme is the English-language equivalent of the Dutch-language Bedrijfseconomie study programme. It is a co-production of Avans School of International Studies and the School of Economics and Business Administration.
